Rap star Vi­par thanks fans as songs re-en­ter iTunes World Chart

A RIS­ING Bucks rap star is grate­ful to his fans after both his songs placed in a pres­ti­gious chart last week.

Michael Ka­mara, 23, from Pond Park, Che­sham, known as Mikar-The-Vi­par, is de­lighted after both his songs en­tered the iTunes World Chart and re­mained in the Top 200 for the whole week.

The star’s de­but sin­gle Gim­mie Love was re­leased last sum­mer and peaked at num­ber 11 and his follow-up sin­gle Break of Dawn, which is not out un­til July and can only be pre-or­dered, peaked in the top 20.

How­ever, both songs re-en­tered the chart last week with Gim­mie Love peak­ing at 59 and Break of Dawn peak­ing at 119.

Michael, who at­tended Wa­ter­side School, in Black­horse Av­enue, and Chiltern Hills Academy, in Char­tridge Lane, Che­sham, posted to his fans on Twit­ter, In­sta­gram and Face­book say­ing: “Tru­u­u­u­u­uuu. This is amaz­ing two tracks fluc­tu­at­ing on the iTunesWorldChart. Thanks guys, let’s keep push­ing.”

Michael is fly­ing to Stock­holm, Swe­den, next month to join rap friends G-Force and Freezin’ Point for their up­com­ing show on Fe­bru­ary 27.
