Mo­bile phone cov­er­age for Chiltern 16% bet­ter

PEO­PLE have shared their sur­prise at Chiltern be­ing among one of the best ar­eas in the county for phone sig­nal.

Re­cep­tion in the Chiltern area was 16 per cent bet­ter than even the UK av­er­age, de­spite peo­ple still claim­ing it is not up to scratch.

The stats were col­lated by wire­less net­work mea­sure­ment app, OpenSig­nal, which col­lects world­wide mo­bile net­work strength fig­ures.

Based on an anal­y­sis of 2G, 3G and 4G re­cep­tion as sent in by its users Buck­ing­ham was bot­tom of the pile in Buck­ing­hamshire when it comes to sig­nal.
