Greed drives plans for estate houses

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - OPINION -

I READ with dismay that the Hall Barn Trust wants to build houses and yet another office in Beaconsfield Old Town.

I sincerely hope that permission is not granted.

The Old Town cannot cope with the cars already in London End and it shows what little the estate knows when it states there is plenty of parking.

If Hall Barn Estate wants to build more houses, let it use its own land.

If Lord Burnham or his father came back, they would be horrified at what has happened to the town they loved.

It is just greed – I fear for the roundabout, I bet they would build on that if they could.

I hope this plan gets thrown out, but I’m not living in hope.
