Breakfast and Bible talk meeting
A NEW series of morning talks has started at the Men’s Breakfast meetings.
Dr Conrad Gempf of the London Theological College, spoke at the United Reformed Church, in Aylesbury End, Beaconsfield, on Saturday, January 10.
He is the author of several popular works on the Bible.
John Hoar, who attended, said: “Humanly speaking, he said, Jesus may appear at first sight to have been a failure.
“He won few people to his cause during his lifetime. He rarely made pronouncements, unlike Moses and the prophets.
“Those who asked him questions were often met not with easy answers but with questions or stories
