Jelly looking solid again
BLAINE Jelly showed he has got over his early season wobbles in week 11 of the Super Singles Darts League.
Having had a disappointing season so far, he bounced back with a hard-fought 6-4 win over Mark Luckett, his third of the season, at the Wooburn Club.
Paul Woodbridge ( played some of his best darts of the season in holding Rob Brereton to an 5-5 draw, while Dave Stopps ( continued his normal good form in the second half of the season with a 7-3 win over Trevor Brereton, which contained two 180s.
Steven Vaughan and Steve McLeod both played twice on the night, Vaughan winning his first match 8-2 over Mike McLeod with an 107 outshot, while Steve McLeod got the better of Andy Long 6-4 in his first match before seeing off Vaughan 7-3 in their second game, hitting his fifth 180 of the season.
Finally, Dan Franzen stayed in third spot following his latest triumph, an 8-2 success over Simon White in which both players managed 180s.
