THERE was an all Holmer Green Le­gion bat­tle this week in the Wy­combe & Amer­sham Darts Club League.

The A team took on the C team in a high qual­ity match and it was the As that came out on top 9-5 to go ahead of the Cs into third place in Di­vi­sion One.

There were 180s from the A team’s Richard Til­bury and the C team’s Dave ‘Burger’ King, as well as a 115 out­shot from the C team’s Dave ‘Curly’ King.

Tot­teridge SC got back to win­ning ways with an 11-3 wal­lop­ing of an un­for­tu­nate Winch­more Hill CC, which took them back to the top of Di­vi­sion One, while Ha­zle­mere CC also found their form with an 8-6 win over the RAFA Club, with 180s from Ha­zle­mere’s John Beat­tie and RAFA’s Des Mar­shall.

The top two teams in Di­vi­sion Two clashed as Cres­sex CC C took on Cres­sex E, and it was the Cs that came out on top, win­ning 8-6 to go nine points clear at the top, de­spite a 180 from the E team’s Dave Putnam.

Mar­low Le­gion’s game against Holmer Green Le­gion B proved to be a mem­o­rable game for Mar­low’s John Green, who hit a league sea­son best out­shot of 158 as his side won 11-3 to go joint sec­ond with Cres­sex E.

This Fri­day sees Chal­lenge Cup and Bowl Com­pe­ti­tion semi fi­nals, with Holmer Green Le­gion C tak­ing on Bourne End CC and Cres­sex CC C fac­ing Winch­more Hill CC in the Bowl, while Tot­teridge SC are up against RAFA Club and Wooburn Club will be chal­lenged by Holmer Green Le­gion A in the Chal­lenge Cup.
