Some like it hot – shop­pers defy weather to en­joy mar­ket

AMAR­KET hopes to get big­ger and bet­ter this year. The Lit­tle Chal­font Farm­ers Mar­ket held its first mar­ket of the n Satur­day uary 10. Mar­ket man­ager Gill Roberts said: Num­bers were down on Satur­day be­cause there were some blus­tery winds. Hope­fully we will get more stalls this year.

“We have 11 reg­u­lars and we have space for 17. We al­ready have pas­try and bread stalls so it would be good to get a cake stall.”

The farm­ers mar­ket is held on the sec­ond Satur­day of each month in the vil­lage hall car park, Cokes Lane in Lit­tle Chal­font.
