AMPTONS In­ter­na­tional in Ger­rards Cross re­cently an­nounced the win­ners of its Christ­mas draw­ing com­pe­ti­tion which was or­gan­ised in con­junc­tion with Chal­font St Peter Church of Eng­land Academy.

The ‘Draw a Christ­mas Cracker' com­pe­ti­tion was open to Years 5 and 6, while Years 3 and 4 took part in the 'Dec­o­rate the Christ­mas Cracker' com­pe­ti­tion.

Mem­bers of the pub­lic voted for the win­ner by post­ing the name of their fa­vorite artist in the bal­lot boxes lo­cated in their lo­cal sales and let­tings of­fices.

As­so­ciate di­rec­tor An­drew Ri­ley said:“We are de­lighted to an­nounce the 30 win­ners of the com­pe­ti­tions, with their imag­i­na­tively drawn and cre­atively dec­o­rated crack­ers.A huge thank you to all those who came in to vote.” The win­ners were:Anna Bird, Char­lotte Simp­kin, Malaika Jha, Lamorna Stokes, Emily Barker,Alex Bourne, Ni­cole Vitty, Kerensa Stokes, Casey Legge, Kai Pa­tel, Ste­fan Lubliner, Matthew De Car­valho, Gu­ram­rit Sandu, Fin­lay Howard, Jake Frost, Maya Stan­ley, Daisy Mun­ton, Char­lotte Smith, Dex­ter Dal­ston, Ja­cob Ha­worth, Kate Knight, Sa­maika Jha, Char­lotte Mea­cock,Ver­ity Burgess, Holly Barker, Fred­die Lu­cas, Lukas Ross, Matthew Al­dred, Demi-Lee Skip and Sonny Dal­ston.

The win­ning pic­tures were dis­played in Hamp­tons In­ter­na­tional's two branches through­out the Christ­mas pe­riod and the lucky win­ners were awarded an art kit, and £400 was do­nated to the school.

Hamp­tons In­ter­na­tional's let­tings branch man­ager Colleen Bran­don added:“Thank you to all those who en­tered the com­pe­ti­tion, it has been such a fan­tas­tic ini­tia­tive and we're ab­so­lutely thrilled with the re­sults from ev­ery­one in­volved! We are so im­pressed with the stan­dard this year and were de­lighted to dis­play the win­ning en­tries in our win­dow over the fes­tive sea­son.”
