Take the plunge in a good cause
A CHILDREN’S hospice is urging people to take on a new challenge to help it raise funds.
Helen & Douglas House, which looks after children and young adults with life-limiting conditions in Buckinghamshire, is encouraging people to help by doing things such as sponsored cycle rides, parachute jumps or climbing a mountain or two.
Community fundraiser for the hospice, Poppy Hanbury, said: “This is a great opportunity for people to make a difference to young lives this year. They have the chance to take part in an exciting challenge all of their own.
“There is a challenge for everybody and no matter whether you will take to the skies and jump out of a plane or swim in your local pool, it’s all an adventure worth trying as it’s helping children and young adults who visit the hospice.”
