Borrowing £260m is blatant profligacy
In reply to story ‘Split over funding of pothole repairs’, Bucks Advertiser front page, January 15: I THINK Martin Tett has it about right.
To borrow £260million with no reasonable commercial feasibility [or] to receive any financial payback is nothing short of blatant profligacy.
We live in an era of financial constraint.
Doubtless the Lib Dems will adopt ‘pothole repairs’ at any cost as one of their main planks in the forthcoming District elections.
I can’t wait to see the proverbial hit the fan.
