Bill fought tirelessly for the community

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - OPINION -

I WAS saddened to learn of the death of Bill Warren, chairman of our parish council.

He led the parish council with distinction and he worked tirelessly on behalf of the residents of Chalfont St Giles and Jordans.

He always had the community at the forefront of his mind and nothing was too much trouble.

I had the utmost respect for Bill, who fought tirelessly on behalf of the residents of Chalfont St Giles and Jordans to secure the best deal from the Local Area Forum.

My sympathy goes to Bill’s widow Marian and to his family.

We will miss him.

Timothy R Butcher Buckinghamshire County Councillor for Chalfont St Giles
