MU­SEUM vis­i­tors en­joyed a dis­play of cos­tumes and props from the BBC’s new film adap­ta­tion of Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot.

The Roald Dahl Mu­seum in High Street, Great Mis­senden, has se­cured no­table items from the film which stars Dustin Hoff­man as Mr Hoppy, Dame Judi Dench as Mrs Sil­ver and James Cor­den as the nar­ra­tor and was broad­cast over the new year.

The mu­seum dis­play in­cluded the ‘Tor­toiseCatcher’ on dis­play, an in­ge­nious de­vice used by Mr Hoppy to reach and catch Al­fie from Mrs Sil­ver’s bal­cony be­low him. It also fea­tured Judi Dench’s out­fits.
