Magic card games or sweet treats?

AN HOUR of cook­ing up 1 tasty treats awaits chil­dren at a mu­seum this Satur­day. The Roald Dahl Mu­seum in High Street, Great Mis­senden, will host a ex­per­i­men­tal food ses­sion at 12.30pm and 2.30pm where vis­i­tors can try truffles and pop­ping candy among other fun snacks.

Food writer Vic­to­ria Glass will guide peo­ple through the ac­tiv­ity. It is aged at chil­dren aged six and above. Tick­ets cost £3 plus mu­seum en­try.

CATCH some jazz at a 2 Jaz­zfest in Amer­sham Com­mu­nity Cen­tre, Chiltern Av­enue on Satur­day.

Hunger Games: Mock­ing­jay Part One, is the third part of the block­buster se­ries which stars Jen­nifer Lawrence.

PEO­PLE can put their 5 brain power to the test at a char­ity quiz this week­end. The quiz night in aid of Ren­nie Grove Hospice Care will take place at Ley Hill Memo­rial Hall on Satur­day.

Teams of up to eight peo­ple or come and join a team.

There will also be a raf­fle on the night. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Tick­ets cost £12 per per­son and in­cludes a sup­per.
