Surplus uniforms sent to Ghana

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - FRONT PAGE -

YOUNGSTERS and their parents have helped to send much-needed school uniform to Africa to be used by children there.

The Gayhurst Parents’ Association, of the school in Gerrards Cross, regularly runs a second hand uniform shop, and over the years a large amount of surplus has been built up.

Last month, the group teamed up with the Afrikids charity, to send the old uniform off to Ghana.
