Ambulance staff were wonderful
HAVING read your article about the South Central Ambulance Service, in your paper dated January 22, I have to agree with the Care Quality Commission’s finding that the ambulance services staff treat patients with dignity and respect.
Around midnight on Thursday, January 22, I became extremely ill.
My wife called 999 and shortly afterwards an ambulance arrived.
The crew, Steph and Gavin, were very calm, professional and very reassuring.
After an initial assessment it was agreed that they should take me to Stoke Mandeville’s A&E department.
Throughout the journey to the hospital, pain relief was
