People living at Chalfont Lodge in Denham Lane, Chalfont St Peter were treated to a performance on the Paraguayan harp by Ruth Butcher on Friday, February 6.

The music session was held to ensure that all of the people living in the home were able to enjoy the music.

Activities co-ordinator Hayley Clark said: “Our regular harp sessions have proven to be popular amongst residents where they are actively encouraged to play the harp themselves, building a sense of musicality with each individual.

“Residents noted how not only was the harp very relaxing but they also enjoyed experiencing the vibrations that came from strumming the instrument along with the different notes and tones they were able to produce.”
