Egg hunts and learn­ing lan­guages

NEW SKILL: Young­sters at one of the regular Lit­tle Lan­guage classes, show­ing off af­ter mak­ing their own masks CHIL­DREN will be en­cour­aged to learn a new lan­guage dur­ing their school hol­i­days.

The Lit­tle Lan­guage Academy, which is based at the Me­mo­rial Cen­tre in East Com­mon, Ger­rards Cross, will be hold­ing two days of ac­tiv­i­ties dur­ing the Easter hol­i­days.

The event is aimed at chil­dren aged from three un­til 10 years.

Deb­bie Lo­max, who runs the academy, said: “This Easter, we will be do­ing lots of bak­ing, Easter arts and crafts, games, egg hunts, and out­door play.

“There will be some French singing and games, but it isn’t nec­es­sary to have at­tended any of our classes, and no pre­vi­ous knowl­edge of French is re­quired.”
