A LIBRARY has joined a safe place scheme.
Little Chalfont Community Library, in Cokes Lane, is now the place to go to if a vulnerable person is in need of help. If a vulnerable person seeks help at the library, volunteers would be expected to make a phone call to their emergency contact if necessary, provide a temporary safe haven for them and offer support until help arrives.
The library now has a sticker on the window to show that it is part of the scheme. Vulnerable people in the community will be told about the scheme so they know they can go there for help.
