Movies editor passes on advice
Helen O’Hara and Dillon Bauschulte, of Gerrards Cross A STUDENT has been given a boost after meeting with a respected film journalist.
Dillon Bauschulte, 17, of Oak End Way, Gerrards Cross, was given the chance to quiz the former editor of Empire magazine, Helen O’Hara, on how to succeed in the media industry, when she visited his college in London.
Dillon, who is studying music technology and media at the Davies Laing and Dick (DLD) College in Marylebone, was able to find out the highlights of Helen’s career.
The college is an independent sixth form. Principal Rachel Borland said: “This visit has really inspired Dillon and his passion will be apparent in his media studies.
“We take pride in providing the best support in order to enable our students to reach their goals in both their education and career prospects.”
