Tutors offer summer art courses
STUDENTS will have the chance to make hats, decorate cakes, or create iPad sketches on courses being run by a set of tutors at a summer school.
Other courses being offered at this year’s Summer School at Missenden Abbey, in Great Missenden, include charcoal drawing or oil painting for beginners.
The courses are being offered by four artists and craft specialists.
They are Peter Keegan, 29, from Winslow, who is leading a two-day course in charcoal drawing and a three-day course in oil painting for beginners; Flore Edith, 45, a millinery teacher from Borehamwood who will be running a hatmaking for beginners class; Nancy Taylor, 54, from High Wycombe, who is running an iPad art using brushes app course; and Nicola Feakes, 39, from Amersham, who has been designing and creating cakes for the past 10 years and runs her own business.
