Hospice appoints new CEO
A HOSPICE has announced the appointment of its new chief executive officer.
Debbie Raven joined the Thames Hospice two years ago as director of patient and family services.
Her proven dedication and experience in specialist palliative care has been critically important.
Under her leadership, the inpatient unit has been able to support a significant increase in the number of patients cared for, including many who have complex needs.
Ms Raven said: “I look forward to taking over the helm of such an established and successful charity which has an incredibly bright future. Before joining the hospice, Ms Raven held senior management positions across the NHS and independent healthcare sector. She is a nurse with more than 28 years’ experience, having specialised in district nursing. She will take over on March 16, when current chief executive, Jacqueline Clark, retires.
