MORE than 90 primary and secondary PE teachers came together at Stoke Mandeville Stadium for the annual Bucks & Milton Keynes PE conference last week.

The event crammed in theory and practical workshops, which provided new ideas and skills to help deliver PE and school sport, and was organised by Leap.

Mark Stokes, children and young people development manager at Leap, said: “We were delighted with the way the day panned out.

Schools from across Bucks and Milton Keynes were represented and Mr Stokes added: “This is part of a strategy to create high quality PE, school sports and physical activities for all our young people.

“We aim to repeat this as an annual event in the future.”
