THE PRIDE Of Bucks Awards 2015 has been officially launched today (Thursday).

The glitzy ceremony, hosted by the Buckinghamshire Advertiser and Examiner Series and our website get, will once again take place at the glamorous Stoke Park in Stoke Poges. This year’s event will take place on Monday, June 29.

Since the inaugural event in 2013, Pride of Bucks has gone from strength to strength. It has given us great pleasure to provide an army of unsung heroes with the thanks and recognition they richly deserve.

But there is one thing missing from this year’s event – you.

We could not host this event without your help. We need our loyal readers to tell us about the people out there who deserve an award for what they do. We all know community heroes – from the postman who goes the extra mile to help an elderly customer to the youth worker who goes above and beyond the call of duty to brighten the lives of those around them.

This really is your Pride of Bucks Awards and what better opportunity to nominate that special someone so we can all thank them properly for helping to make Bucks such a special place in which to live, work and visit.

Simon Edgley, Managing Director of getbucks and the Advertiser and Examiner said: “This will be the third year that we have run the Pride of Bucks Awards and we continue to be blown away by its success.

“We’ve recognised some amazing individuals over the past couple of years and 2015 will be no different.

“There are so many people out there who work tirelessly in their local communities and richly deserve the recognition that these awards bring, so get nominating today so we can make this summer’s event the best ever.”
