All aboard for an amaz­ing ex­pe­ri­ence

Amelia Dancy, Lewis Jamieson and Char­lotte Camp­bell are all act­ing in The Rail­way Chil­dren at the King's Cross Theatre TAL­ENTED Bucks chil­dren are part of the act­ing team in The Rail­way Chil­dren in Lon­don.

There are six chil­dren from the county in the per­for­mance, which is tak­ing place at the King’s Cross Theatre un­til Fri­day, May 8.

Ac­tors Thomas Hull, 9, is from Speen, Alex Short, 10, is from Bea­cons­field, Frank Lind­sey, 11, is from Bea­cons­field, Amelia Dancy, 13, is from Amer­sham, Char­lotte Camp­bell is from Chal­font St Peter and Lewis Jamieson, 13, is from High Wy­combe.

The young per­form­ers play sev­eral parts in the chil­dren’s en­sem­ble, op­po­site co­me­dian and ac­tor Sean Hughes as Mr Perks and actress Caro­line Harker as Mother.

Char­lotte, 11, who at­tends the Arts Ed­u­ca­tional school, said: “I love work­ing along­side pro­fes­sional ac­tors, it has been an amaz­ing ex­pe­ri­ence for me. My am­bi­tion is to be in many more shows and hope­fully get a lead role.

“You should see The Rail­way Chil­dren as it’s a re­ally fam­ily friendly show, and the main ac­tors are amaz­ing.”

Amer­sham School stu­dent, Amelia said: “I like how friendly ev­ery­one is and I also like the at­mos­phere on stage – the ap­plause at the end makes you feel like you have achieved some­thing.

“In the fu­ture, I would love to have a big­ger part in a film or theatre pro­duc­tion.”
