All aboard for an amazing experience
Amelia Dancy, Lewis Jamieson and Charlotte Campbell are all acting in The Railway Children at the King's Cross Theatre TALENTED Bucks children are part of the acting team in The Railway Children in London.
There are six children from the county in the performance, which is taking place at the King’s Cross Theatre until Friday, May 8.
Actors Thomas Hull, 9, is from Speen, Alex Short, 10, is from Beaconsfield, Frank Lindsey, 11, is from Beaconsfield, Amelia Dancy, 13, is from Amersham, Charlotte Campbell is from Chalfont St Peter and Lewis Jamieson, 13, is from High Wycombe.
The young performers play several parts in the children’s ensemble, opposite comedian and actor Sean Hughes as Mr Perks and actress Caroline Harker as Mother.
Charlotte, 11, who attends the Arts Educational school, said: “I love working alongside professional actors, it has been an amazing experience for me. My ambition is to be in many more shows and hopefully get a lead role.
“You should see The Railway Children as it’s a really family friendly show, and the main actors are amazing.”
Amersham School student, Amelia said: “I like how friendly everyone is and I also like the atmosphere on stage – the applause at the end makes you feel like you have achieved something.
“In the future, I would love to have a bigger part in a film or theatre production.”
