Barking mad to run

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - NEWS -

A PERSONAL trainer ran the London marathon and raised funds for a dog society.

Keith Tucker who works in Latimer Park, Latimer did the marathon in four hours and 54 minutes to raise money for Chilterns Dog Rescue Society.

Mr Tucker said: "I loved it, it was an amazing experience, there was so much support there."

The 36-year-old added: "Due to a new baby, I had only done six training runs, I had trained myself mentally though.

"The more I discovered about the society and the work they do, the more I wanted to raise money for them. They work with the police to make sure our streets are safe from dangerous dogs, they work with disabled dogs, it became a nobrainer that I should run for them."

So far, Mr Tucker has raised £511 for the charity.
