Sponsored walk to raise research funds
Hoping to emulate success of previous events
A MOTHER and father are organising a charity walk in order to raise funds for research into an illness which is affecting their son.
Louisa Hill and husband Gary of Nortoft Road, Chalfont St Peter have set up an event to take place on Sunday which will involve participants walking five kilometres.
The route will begin at Chalfont St Peter Football Club at 10am before going along the Colne Valley and then to Chalfont St Giles and back again.
It is being organised to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy UK through a foundation set up by Mr and Mrs Hill called Action 4 Archie.

“The other events that we’ve organised, like our golf days, have been really successful and people have really got behind them, so we are hoping for that to happen with this as well.
“It should be really good and we’re looking forward to it and hoping that the weather is nice on the day.”
The event is open to as many people as want to take part and pets are welcome to go along on the day, although dogs will need to be kept on leads. Participants are asked to contribute £5 per person or alternatively £20 per family, and additional contributions will be welcomed.
