There are so many ways you can help our hospice appeal
SOUTH Bucks Hospice needs you!
As we embark on our exciting time of growth, we find ourselves in desperate need of additional support from our local community.
You, the wonderful people of South Bucks, have been amazing supporters of our hospice for 30 years and now more than ever, we need your help.
Do you have a spare day or two during the week and want to do something fulfilling that benefits and enhances your community?
South Bucks Hospice has many volunteering roles ready to be filled and we have something for all abilities and interests!
Whether you want to become a volunteer driver, retail assistant or day care patient helper, or if you’d like to start your own fundraising group, we’d love to hear from you.
We have recently launched our brand new website which is now populated with our most urgent volunteer posts and if you think you could spare even a couple of hours a week to help us, we would be extremely grateful.
Volunteers are a vital part of what helps our hospice survive and we are hoping to substantially grow our existing volunteer base in all departments so we can continue to meet the needs of our community as well as possible.
I would encourage you to visit our website, www.sbh.org.uk to find out more about our volunteer vacancies to see where your hobbies and interests could be put to excellent use.
In total, we have seven fantastic charity shops across South Bucks and, after a busy first few months of 2015, we are now appealing for quality stock that we may sell to raise funds for our hospice.
If you have household goods, clothing, accessories, electrical items, toys, furniture or sports equipment that you no longer use, we are always happy to take them off your hands!
Our hospice shops provide a vital stream of income to support our services, which rely on generous donations from our community.
You can drop donations off directly with our shops or ReUse Centres, which are located in High Wycombe, Beaconsfield, Bourne End, Hazlemere, Booker and Aston Clinton.
