PEOPLE flocked to a historic fair dating back more than 700 years. The annual Beaconsfield Charter Fair went ahead on Monday, May 11 and can trace its origins back to the reign of Henry III.

The fair traditionally falls on May 10 each year unless that date falls on a Sunday, in which case it takes place on May 11 as it did this year.

The event is organised by the Hall Barn Estate, and Jenefer Farncombe, of the group, said: “It is a part of Beaconsfield history and is something that people always come out and support.”
