Harry hopes to be a regular visitor
SPECIAL GUEST: puppy Harry CHILDREN at the Montessori School in Chalfont St Peter were treated to a visit from a 13-week-old puppy last Wednesday.
Harry the puppy is being trained as a hearing dog for the deaf and was brought along
Charlie Lamb, Arthur Catherall, Levi Watson and Nancy Harrison meet by trainer Susie Hill to socialise him.
The children stroked him, fed him and learnt about how he responds to hand signals.
Deputy principal Debbie Lomax said: “He’s going to become a regular visitor to the school and we are looking forward to hearing about what else Harry can do on his next visit. He was beautifully behaved and the children were able to ask Susie lots of questions about his training.”
