Harry hopes to be a regular vis­i­tor

SPE­CIAL GUEST: puppy Harry CHIL­DREN at the Montes­sori School in Chal­font St Peter were treated to a visit from a 13-week-old puppy last Wed­nes­day.

Harry the puppy is be­ing trained as a hear­ing dog for the deaf and was brought along

Char­lie Lamb, Arthur Cather­all, Levi Wat­son and Nancy Har­ri­son meet by trainer Susie Hill to so­cialise him.

The chil­dren stroked him, fed him and learnt about how he re­sponds to hand sig­nals.

Deputy prin­ci­pal Deb­bie Lo­max said: “He’s go­ing to be­come a regular vis­i­tor to the school and we are look­ing for­ward to hear­ing about what else Harry can do on his next visit. He was beau­ti­fully be­haved and the chil­dren were able to ask Susie lots of ques­tions about his train­ing.”
