PA­RADE: Bri­tish Le­gion Stan­dard Bear­ers at the Amer­sham Me­mo­rial Gar­den’s VE Day con­cert A TOWN’S gar­dens were packed for VE Day cel­e­bra­tions.

Old Amer­sham’s VE day con­cert event, which was held on Sun­day, May 11, has been hailed a big suc­cess. Or­gan­iser, Steve Catanach, said: “The VE day con­cert was a won­der­ful oc­ca­sion and it was great to see so many res­i­dents and vis­i­tors join the cel­e­bra­tions while rais­ing money for the Royal Bri­tish Le­gion.
