A WIZARD TIME AT FUN FAIRY DAY
ONCE upon a time wizards, fairies, knights and a unicorn brought a museum to life as children dressed up as their favourite characters.
The Chiltern Open Air Museum welcomed over 800 guests to its special Enchanted Museum on Saturday.
Visitor experience manager, Sian Hammerton-Fraser, was “delighted” to welcome the guests, who enjoyed traditional storytelling in the beautiful historic buildings and tried out some fairytale crafts in the craft barn, helped by volunteers.
She added: “The spectacular weather provided a gorgeous atmosphere for families picnicking on the Village Green amidst children playing in fantastic costumes, many of which had been homemade by long-suffering parents.
“The fancy dress parade was a great success with some really spectacular entries and lots of smiling faces.”
