Hayes praises Howard
CAPTAIN Paul Hayes believes Wycombe Wanderers chairman Andrew Howard’s infectious personality has helped the club put together a promotion push this season.
The Chairboys are preparing for their first Wembley final since 1994 as they take on Southend in Saturday’s end-ofseason shootout.
Howard has had a massive impact on the club since arriving in the summer, including the launch of a new share scheme, and has helped ease the pressure on the 11 men taking to the field.

“Andrew’s come in and done it his way and it’s made all of our jobs easier on the pitch.
“It’s one of the reasons we’ve done so well.
“He’s got things organised and got us all involved.
“He’ll come down to the training ground and we have get-togethers every couple of months.
“Andrew’s a good man, like the gaffer, and his door’s always open.”
