There was also a plant stall at the event as well as a stall sell­ing lo­cal pro­duce. A tombola with prizes for all ages added to the fun day.

The event raised al­most £800, which will help pay for the restora­tion of the church’s two stained glass win­dows.

One of the or­gan­is­ers Liz Green said: “A sin­cere thank you is due to ev­ery­one in the vil­lage who baked a cake or helped on the day and to all those who sup­ported the af­ter­noon.”
