Nothing but good about this GP

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - PRIDE OF BUCKS 2015 -

DESCRIBED as an unsung hero by patients, Dr Peter Boast has been praised for working tirelessly to help them.

Arriving at Chess Medical Centre as a newly-qualified GP, Dr Boast now runs the surgery in Chesham.

He has been nominated for a Pride of Bucks Award in several categories: 999 Service Personnel, sponsored by GE Healthcare, health worker or team of the year/healthy living, sponsored by Universal Care and Employee/ business person of the Year, spsonsored by BP Collins.

Kharen Mahmood, one of those nominating Dr Boast, said: “I was in and out of hospital, undiagnosed and suffering with RSD. Instead of palming me off, he made sure he found out why I was in so much pain. He referred me to a top neurologist and made sure I got my pain relief, which was hard to control.

“Everyone who has him as a GP has nothing but good to say about this man. I would have been crippled and in a wheelchair but because of his prompt work, I am standing tall. He is an unsung hero.”
