Woman subjected to sexual assault
POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man following a sexual assault on a train in Bucks.
The British Transport Police is asking the public if they recognise the man as officers investigate a sexual assault on a woman between London Marylebone and Little Kimble, Bucks.
The assault happened between 9pm and 10.30pm on Saturday, May 2 as a woman in her 20s was travelling on the 9.09pm Marylebone to Aylesbury service.
PC Hollie Taylor, investigating, said: “A man boarded the train at Marylebone and sat next to the woman, placing a bag on his lap while resting a hand onto one of the woman’s legs.
“During the service, he engaged in conversation with the woman and made her feel very uncomfortable.
“On a number of occasions he asked for the victim’s phone number, which she refused. Just before leaving the train at Little Kimble, the man hugged and kissed the woman without her permission.” investigation,As part officersof their have viewed CCTV from stations on the route and have now isolated an image of a man they wish to speak to.
PC Taylor added: “This was a very upsetting incident for this woman, who felt trapped and worried as a result of this man’s actions.
