Quirke-y characters at masterclass
Avenue Q BUDDING actors learned techniques from the top.
Students at the Pauline Quirke Academy in Amersham learned from the actress herself as they participated in an acting for television masterclass on Saturday, May 23, as well as a workshop on musical theatre where they got to work with puppets from the musical Avenue Q.
Pauline Quirke said: “When I was younger some of my happiest times were spent in drama classes, so it was great to be back in the studio and share some of the skills I have learnt over years in the industry with my students. They were all superb and I came away feeling very proud.”
The masterclass was also attended by students from other Pauline Quirke Academies.
The event took place in London’s RADA studios.
