Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - BUSINESS -

IF you hot foot it along to the Clarks store in Beaconsfield you will discover it has undergone a refurbishment.

The shop, in The Highway, boasts contemporary window displays as well as an instore revamp to create a more inviting space for the discerning shopper.

New adult footmeasuring equipment has been introduced along with an iPad foot measuring gauge for youngsters that they are sure to find fun.

Clarks celebrates its 190th anniversary this year and has been trading in Beaconfield since 1928.

The store is currently taking part in a company trial to try and ensure the correct products are stocked in the right outlets according to consumer preference.

Items on the shelves will be selected based on a consumer profile of Beaconsfield in an attempt to provide offerings tailored to the clientele. And, should the selection not be quite what you are looking for, in-store tablets mean you can browse the entire Clarks online range.

A spokesman for the store said: “The investment in the refit reflects Clarks’ commitment to the store team and the community.

“We were really excited to open the doors to our new-look store.”
