The sun shines on annual village fete
NEIGHBOURS enjoyed a host of activities at the weekend when their village held an annual fete.
The Stoke Poges Village Fete went ahead on Saturdayin the grounds of Stoke Poges Village School, in Rogers Lane.
People who went along were able to enjoy attractions such as a dog show and rides in super cars.
Stalls sold a wide variety of products.
Organising committee chairman Martin Wood said: “It was a great day for it. The sun shone throughout and I would say that we had maybe our biggest attendance ever.
“There were about 2,000 people coming along on the day. I’d like to say thanks to everyone who helped out, especially Bert’s Removals, who helped with transporting equipment to and from the field.”
