From the Cavern to hitting the heights

Buckinghamshire Advertiser - - ON SHOW -

ONE of the highest rated and most popular Beatles tribute acts in the world will be coming to Bucks at the weekend.

The Bootleg Beatles will be descending on the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on Sunday, June 14, giving audiences the chance to re-live the sights and sounds of the ‘60s.

The show takes audiences on a journey through the Beatles’ career, starting with the band’s early days at the Cavern in Liverpool before the days of Beatlemania and huge popularity across the world.

It then moves into the days of psychedelia and the Sgt Pepper album, before culminating in the band’s final performance on the roof of Apple Records in London.

The band has running, with different members, since 1980 and has performed around the world, establishing itself as the number one tribute to the Beatles on the planet.

The show uses film footage and regular costume changes to show the different eras in which the performances take place, as well as a string ensemble for certain songs, and has been praised for the accuracy of its performances.

All the most popular Beatles hits are included in the show, as well as some lesser known tracks from their albums.

Tickets to the event are priced at between £31.40 and £46.40 and can be booked by going togtick venues/aylesbury-waterside-theatre or by calling 0844 871 7607.
