Marmalade and Honey Dramtini
A CONTEMPORARY twist to the classic martini, this Scotch-based drink is enhanced with the tang of the citrus fruits and sweetness of the marmalade and indulgent runny honey.
It’s a delight on the palate and is perfect for those who have not previously considered themselves a fan of whisky. Simple to make and a surprisingly light drink compared to the other variants of the gin and vodka based martinis.
METHODOLOGY: Stir four spoons of runny honey and half a teaspoon of marmalade with 2 shots of Scotch whisky in the base of a shaker tin until dissolved. Add 1 shot freshly squeezed lemon juice and one shot freshly squeezed orange juice. Add ice to tin and shake, fine strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.
