FOLLOWING the 2014 production of Grease, Wycombe Swan Summer Youth Project returns with the beloved musical comedy, Singin’ in the Rain.

It’s time to grab your brolly and head to Hollywood for a musical that will surely have you leaving with a Glorious Feelin’.

The Wycombe Swan is looking for a cast of 250 young singers, actors and dancers aged 9-21 to appear in the iconic musical.

Young people do not have to have been involved in Summer Projects in the past.

Now in its 23rd year, the Wycombe Swan’s Summer Youth Project is an annual local theatrical extravaganza which involves local young people in the staging and performing of a full-scale musical in just two weeks. Auditions were on Sunday, April 26 to Wycombe Swan Theatre.

Young people were also given the chance to work behind the scenes, with roles handed out for the building of the set, stage management, lighting, sound and props.

Performances are Friday August 21– Sunday August 23.
