Village pub up for sale
ONE of Penn’s village pubs is up for sale.
The leasehold of the Red Lion on the village green and duck pond in Elm Road has been put on the market with leisure property firm Fleurets, which held an open viewing session at the pub last week.
The building is thought to date back to the 17th century.
It has two bars, a function room and garden and residential accommodation.
Elysia Wilson-Gunn from Fleurets said: “This is a stunning building within a ‘chocolate box’ village and has a very prosperous trade for bar sales and a successful established food offering.”
A guide price for the leasehold has been set at £175,000.
