A jolly fine result for your top place to enjoy a pint
Jolly Sportsman gains twice as many votes as nearest rival
STAFF and customers of a Chesham pub are celebrating after being named the Bucks Advertiser and Examiner Pub of the Year 2015.
Landlady Deborah Wilbee said she was absolutely delighted to come out top in the competition, particularly as it the result was determined by public vote. The Jolly Sportsman, in Eskdale Avenue, Chesham, received more than twice the number of votes as its nearest rival and many testamonials from its customers. After being presented with a trophy and a commemorative front page recognising the achievement, Deborah said: “I am so lucky to have such a great bunch of regulars here. It really is like an extended family.
“Thank you so much for this award, I couldn’t be more thrilled.”
