It’s full steam ahead for summer fair fun
NEIGHBOURS went along to support their village’s annual summer fair at the weekend. The Jordans Village Fair went ahead on Saturday and a host of attractions were on offer for people to enjoy.
Activities included a bouncy castle, a dog show and children’s games.
People were also given the opportunity to browse a variety of stalls, while children could enjoy steam train and go-kart rides as well as a petting farm.
Jordans Village School pupils put on a country dancing display for people to enjoy.
Organiser Pat Holdsworth said: “It was brilliant.
“It was a bit of a slow start because of the weather but it got better as time went on.
“I’d like to say thanks to everyone who helped out and gave so much of their time.”
