Academy’s ‘out­stand­ing’ work

Sarah English A SCHOOL has been rated as hav­ing ‘out­stand­ing’ lead­er­ship in a re­cent Of­sted re­port.

Den­ham Green E-Act Pri­mary Academy, Nightin­gale Way, was also rated as ‘good’ with a ‘high qual­ity’ level of teach­ing.

Prin­ci­pal Sarah English said: “The school has worked tremen­dously hard to bring about a

tPi se­ries of pos­i­tive changes over the last cou­ple of years. It’s great to see these changes be­ing recog­nised by Of­sted and re­flected in our SATs re­sults.

“The pupils should also be very proud of the way they con­duct them­selves and the work they have done.”

( i ht) academy is go­ing from strength to strength. The Of­sted re­port con­firms that we are mak­ing ex­cel­lent progress, and fol­lows last year’s SATs re­sults where 75 per cent of pupils achieved a Level 4 or higher in both English and maths.

“The academy is a great as­set and source of im­mense pride for the lo­cal com­mu­nity.”
