Logo win­ners en­joy Vil­lage Day

WIN­NERS of a logo com­pe­ti­tion for a new na­ture park were given prizes at a vil­lage day.

Lit­tle Chal­font Na­ture Park Ac­tion Group mem­bers Peggy Lan­caster and Sarah Jamieson or­gan­ised a com­pe­ti­tion in Chal­font Val­ley E-Act Pri­mary Academy and Lit­tle Chal­font Pri­mary School. The prizes for the suc­cess­ful en­tries were pre­sented on Lit­tle Chal­font Vil­lage Day by Roger Funk, chair­man of the Lit­tle Chal­font Com­mu­nity As­so­ci­a­tion.

The fi­nal logo of the vil­lage’s new na­ture park has been inspired by the six win­ners’ draw­ings.

Lit­tle Chal­font Na­ture Park Ac­tion Group mem­ber, Tim Hunt, said; “Prizes were awarded to six draw­ings which all helped to in­spire the fi­nal de­sign.”

The over­all win­ner of the com­pe­ti­tion was Farah Doha from Lit­tle Chal­font Pri­mary School. How­ever, she was un­able to at­tend the prize giv­ing.
