The event was organised by the Independent Association of Prep Schools with hundreds of children taking part from prep schools all over the country.
Gayhurst entered girls and boys in the under 10, under 11 and under 13 events.
The triathlon consisted of a 200m swim in an outdoor 20m pool, a 3km cycle and a 2km run around the grounds of Dulwich Prep School.
Sports teacher at Gayhurst School Simon Kearns, who takes part in triathlons himself, said: “This is a tremendous test of the girls’ and boys’ endurance. They really are athletes in the truest sense of the word.”
