Choir gives Welsh a run for their money

VAL­LEY HIGH: The Seer Green Singers per­form in Wales A GROUP of singers en­ter­tained peo­ple in Wales when it went on a tour of the val­leys.

The Seer Green Singers, a male voice choir founded two years ago and led by Jane Smith, went on a tour of the area ear­lier this month.

The group went on the visit ear­lier this month, tak­ing part in D Day an­niver­sary cel­e­bra­tions and vis­it­ing a me­mo­rial of a min­ing dis­as­ter, which took place in 1960.

The singers also per­formed in a church to raise money for char­ity and went on a walk­ing tour of Cardiff, vis­it­ing the Mil­len­nium Sta­dium and test match cricket ground, where the Ashes will be played next month.

The group’s next con­cert will take place in Chor­ley­wood on Oc­to­ber 17, with tick­ets avail­able from Septem­ber.
