Most recently, four Bucks boys travelled to Sheffield for the U11 finals, contested by the UK’s top 50 players in the age group, at the beginning of June, and all four won their first round matches, guaranteeing them places in the final 32.

Notable achievements included Arhan Chandra, from Chesham Bois, knocking out number three seed Nero Harms in a thrilling five-set match, and a fantastic run by Alex Mullis, of Wycombe Squash & Racketball Club, to the quarter-finals, where he was halted by number two seed Ben Parlour.

There were also impressive performances by MK Squash’s James Kettle and Holmer Green Squash & Racketball Club’s Konrad Pompe, who finished 25th and 29th respectively.
