The Little Language Academy, in Chalfont St Peter, joined forces with the Chalfont St Peter Montessori school and invited the men to the breakfast which took place before school.
It included pain au chocolat, croissants and brioche and the opportunity to spend some time with their children in the classroom.
After this everyone made a circle and enjoyed French songs and stories together.
Debbie Lomax, deputy principal of the nursery and owner of The Little Language Academy, said: “We offer dads’ breakfasts every term for the children at nursery, but this time we thought we’d include a French flavour and put the dads through their paces in getting them to speak some French.
“They had to introduce themselves in French and join in with the singing with their children, who were very proud to show off their linguistic skills.”
